The North Welsh singer from Llandudno has become a highly regarded rising star amongst the music scene.
Cerys Eless has developed her own distinct style, and this is proved in her latest four-track EP 'The Introverts Club'. With influences from Adele, Lorde and Florence and The Machine; it is obvious she's going to go far with her music in the industry.
Emotionally Unattached the two minute and thirty-nine-second song captivate her listeners with linkable guitar strings and an upbeat tempo to the bass. The lyrics tell a story which is ironically juxtaposed through her production but, with that in mind, there's a sense of something missing within the opener.

On the flip side, Overdose sets a strong tone for the EP. Her powerhouse vocals work well with the slow piano ballad which is then followed by an upbeat tempo to the bass. The song takes the listeners on a personal journey which is portrayed by the lyrics of "overdose on my heart/I didn't know it was love until it almost fell apart". The similarities of Skyfall by Adele reminisce throughout but, it's clear that Cerys Eless has taken on a style which can't be taken away from her. Although Cerys is an unsigned artist, the hit track single has gained recognition from UK Songwriting Competition to airplay on Adam Walton's BBC Introducing show.
The EP closes its curtains with songs from 5 A.M and What We Had. The two different types of songs polish off the project that Cerys pickpockets a journey by a balanced out four-piece track EP. The slow rendition of 5 A.M (longest song of the EP) proves why she is different from any other rising star out there. With a range of vocals throughout and the strings of an authentic guitar which is followed by a moving tempo to the beat.
This is followed by What We Had which shows off inspirations from Lorde and the track Royals. The upbeat and hypnotic bass interludes with the fast pace production that connect with the lyrics in the perfect way possible. The final track gives us a sense of something different to the project but, disappointing that we couldn't hear something similar earlier on.
The project from Cerys Eless closes perfectly in fashion and the four-piece project shows off her skills as an unsigned artist. The Welsh singer has a future to look forward to and you can catch her perform at Sound City in Liverpool this September.
