Charlotte Day Wilson Gifts us With Her Latest Singles 'Summertime' and 'Take Care of You' ft Syd

Hypnotic and dreamy, the Toronto based singer-songwriter has a voice that takes you on a sonic aura, no matter if you like it or not.
With roots ranging from R&B to folk, Charlotte returns with the smooth and velvety 'Take Care of You' feat. Syd and the dreamy entrancing 'Summertime'. Taking a contemporary take, Wilson infuses soul, jazz and R&B that creates atmospheric ballads which exhale warmth and intimacy. All whilst showcasing her transcendent vocals and quirky inventiveness to create vintage basslines, gospel assonance and minimalist production.

Speaking about the singles she said: "'Take Care of You' was one of those songs that came naturally and quickly; I just wanted to write the sort of lesbian love song that I would want to listen to. Syd was the best possible addition and we both felt it was a song that needed to be heard." She also added: "I wrote 'Summertime' at my cottage alone in the woods, I was just reflecting on some unrequited emotions that always seem to come back in the summer."
From sharing stages with the likes of Angel Olsen and Haim to collaborations with the likes of Daniel Caesar and Kaytranada; Charlotte has experienced first-hand sell-out headline shows and universal attention across all platforms.
With the power, she poses, her first offerings of 2020 are a prime example of her entice to expand her sound and sets the tone for more to come.
