Danish newcomer eee gee taps into the modern introspective of folk with the elegant origin of Nordic pop throughout her debut 'Favourite Lover'.
Delving into the good sides of being lonely and realising you only need yourself; the rising singer-songwriter pulsates between heavy basses with the delicate sparkling guitars as she confronts her own surroundings deep within the raw lyricism.
As she balances between the feel-good melodies with the honest storytelling, eee gee said: "I write music for the introvert, who is constantly pushed into the uncomfortable extrovert way of how the world works.” She added: "'Favourite Lover' is about the journey from feeling restlessly dark, bored and un-datable to owning the moment of lonely self-care. It’s about transforming loneliness and longing into something blissful. Realizing you don’t need anyone but yourself."
With her debut being a hit with the critics, eee gee next step into the music world will surely be watched by many.
