Foxglove - 'Bright Lights'

An infused retro spin that delves into an honest memoir of remembering only the good and forgetting the bad.

Taking influences from the likes of The 1975 and Prince's 'Purple Rain', the Manchester-based band bring indie-pop nostalgia to our doors through glistening guitar riffs and shiny choruses that weave together with hard-hitting vocals.

Speaking about the single lead singer, Abi White said: “This track was all about hitting that nostalgic feeling and, that's what we feel whenever we play this track. It's a very anthemic song within the choruses, weaving in the 90's distorted feeling. The rest of the track feels like an 80's synth ballad, with big, hard-hitting snares and glittery guitars. The track is an amalgamation of our favourite genres from when we were growing up.”

As they continue to grow a following in the North and beyond, Foxglove have brought 90s distortion with the power of an 80's synth ballad just at the right time.
