London singer-songwriter NUUXS once again glimpses her forthcoming debut album Heirloom with a stunning stripped-back alt-groove within 'Starship'.

Built through the staple vocal tones that captivate listeners from the let go with glistening soundscapes, 'Starship' takes you on a magical space journey of the earth we live in.

Discussing the art's ability to distract from reality, NUUXS explained: "For me, one of the biggest enticements of music was the escapism of it. ‘Starship’ is a homage to Star Trek; I loved the concept of how they fight evil forces on their adventures, and I feel we’re in the same place with pollution, human and equal rights. It’s about the love we have for the space we live in, yet we still manage as humans to treat it badly."

From one single to the next, NUUXS is becoming a star in the making for her cutting-edge brand of alt-pop, and one critic will soon keep their eyes on.
