Pondarosa - 'As You Think'

Mixing their love for Dua Lipa and New Order, Manchester/Liverpool based four-piece steps into a world of disco wonder with their new single 'As You Think'.

Hailing through the North West as one of the most exciting prospects, Pondarosa have gone from ditching the joys of indie rock to more of a groovier, synth-heavy sound that sees them delve into the world of infectious basslines and disco beats. 'As You Think' is fulfilled with 90's aesthetics of British pop that encapsulates nostalgic sounds as they captivate listeners for their hone of lyricism.

Speaking about the single, the band's Adam Ghidouche explained: "We worked with Matt Heap for the third time, which made things very relaxed and easy from the start. Matt is comfortable with electronic music as well as guitar-based stuff, so he was able to help us capture a great blend of guitars and synths to create a more disco-infused sound."

With the band already establishing themselves in the scenes of Mancunian and Liverpudlian, Pondarosa are now looking further afield with their new direction of music.
