Pulsating disco groove from one of Birmingham's highly rated rising band Shai Brides, as they delve into pop chaos with 'Vitamins'.
Inspired by the digital culture, we surround ourselves - the five-piece band incorporate a more electronic and upbeat production that alongside unfolds a roaring bassline. With lyrics 'Say Nothing, Say Nothing, Say Nothing, Or Say Something' at the heart of the track that floats through with the kaleidoscopic production; it's no wonder I am head-bopping whilst writing this.
Speaking about their latest track, lead singer, Thom Dent said: "'Vitamins' comes from somewhere very strange. It’s a song about time passing and about life passing you by, so the idea was to make something woozy and psychedelic but built around a groove that’s always pushing you forwards." He adds: "It’s a sleepy floor filler, a song built for 3 am on a dancefloor when you’re trying to keep your eyes open”.
Having already shown versatility with their past singles, Shai Brides seemed to be not scared to change it up a little and, it's paying off.
