Dublin based Soda Blonde return with the announcement of their debut album and tour alongside the brooding title track 'Small Talk'.
Out July 9th via Velveteen Records, the profound quartet give a glimpse of what we can expect within 'Small Talk'. A smoky offering of alternative pop that shimmers in light percussion with rich 80s melodies.
Formerly known as Little Green Cars, the four-piece Soda Blonde shift between the ups and downs of their past and have pathed a new route of success. As they come to terms with their changes, 'Small Talk' is a dazzling portrayal of someone who isn't afraid to question their actions. Commenting on their latest release, Faye O'Rourke added: "To put it simply, 'Small Talk' is about life in our 20’s. Every part of us is in here, both subliminally and literally. Lyrically, this record is like a collection of my flaws and insecurities. They’re lingering awkwardly by the bar at a crowded social gathering, waiting to integrate with the wider world”.
