Following the release of 'Perdida', Biig Piig has been on our radar since and, we think you should be joining her on her adventures within the music scene.
Born in Ireland but raised in Spain before moving to Shepherd's Bush, Biig Piig found her people as she became part of the NiNE8 Collective (the eight-person network of London based creatives that are at the heart of nightlife). Having gone viral for early tracks such as 'Vice City' and 'Sunny', 2020 became the year for Biig Piig as she emerged an honest writer on relationships, identity and how to navigate the changing world we live in.
Dropping her highly anticipated single 'Don't Turn Around' back in summer that captures the true meaning of self-love through the core influences of her early work alongside a modern take. Biig Piig hasn't stopped there as she continues to surprise us with tracks like 'Oh No' and 'Liahr'. Both of which delves into her abilities to be calm and, show clarity even in the most chaotic of circumstances.
With 2020 coming to a close, the singer-songwriter has dropped her new single 'Feels Right' which premiered as Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1. Allowing listeners to reminisce the energy of nights out, Biig Piig explains: "I miss going out so much. The feeling of letting go and being surrounded by sweaty people; meeting strangers and one-night romances; the tunes and ecstasy. Feel like pure shit just want her back :'(. So, we made 'Feels Right' with that in mind. The closest we can get to that feeling again right now is writing about it."
At just 22-years-old, Biig Piig has gone from her debut single 'Crush'n' to rocking the world for her empowering anthems that observe the emotions of the youth.
