Stepping away from Little One and venturing the solo career, Zach James Douglas 'Something/Anything' is an intricate yet stunning debut.
Immersed through synthetic glitchy soundscapes with the perfected blend of contradicted instrumentals, the rising South Dublin artist explores themes of shame, anxiety and depression in the process of influential music.
Speaking about his debut, Douglas said: "'Something/Anything' deals with the bitterness and the anger that began to engulf mine and my Ex’s relationship, as she struggled to come to terms with her own personal demons and issues at home. It documents how my role in her life began to change from one of positivity, comfort and reliability, to the new position of the perpetual scapegoat."
With his debut showing glimpses of what's to come, Zach James Douglas is on a path to what can only be fulfilled with joy and success.
